Whether the client has its own legal department, but needs legal assistance in an area in which we possess expertise or if the client has no legal department, Wharton Law can provide general counsel services to that client. Some of the general counsel services we provide include, advising company management on business transactions, including the negotiation and drafting of legal agreements, on the acquisition of real estate and other business assets and on risks of consummating various transactions without further negotiations.
We also provide business advisory services to company management on an on-going basis. For example, we assist management with implementing various employee policies, compliance and corporate governance issues, internal policies, employment agreements, salary and bonus programs.
Additionally, we assist clients with assessing and implementing appropriate risk management strategies, as well as advising on strategic business planning and with creating and updating business plans. We also undertake special projects, such as researching current laws and how they might impact a client’s strategic business decisions.
Wharton Law also assists clients with the formation and structuring of various business entities, including limited liability companies, corporations, and partnerships. When needed, we will provide business succession planning assistance to our clients.
